Slottsfjell will take place this year between Wednesday 13th – Saturday 16th July.
In 2015 the festival sold out in record time, so don’t hang about. Weekend passes in particular go super quick.
Slottsjell’s exclusive ticket vendor is Billettportalen.no. They have some pages in english, info on tickets and prices please click here.
The festival takes place in one of Norway’s most spectacular outdoor festival areas, right in the heart of Tønsberg, with all the usual facilities nearby. Hotels, restaurants, parks, camping, indoor swimming pool, bus, and the train station are all within walking distance from the festival area. The new festival camping site is reasonably priced and only a short walk from both the festival and the city centre. Check out the ticket site Billettportalen.no for more info on camping options which should go on sale early February.
Most of the artist bios and news on this site will be in Norwegian, but we will in time highlight a few of our favourite up and coming Norwegian acts in English.
Some news and artist articles also have English versions.
The line up 2015 included: Ellie Goulding, Charli XCX, Flogging Molly, Motorpsycho, Tove Lo, Refused, Seinabo Sey, Lonely the Brave, OnklP & De Fjerne Slektningene, Emilie Nicolas, Aurora, Team Me and many more.

A brief summary of Slottsfjell’s position in the Norwegian festival market can be found here – with links to info on the festival scene in Norway in general.
As the lights go out on the festival’s main stages, our beloved after party takes up the baton and continues the action until 3am in an old warehouse over the water at Kaldnes. Close to the downtown marina entertainment area, and only a short walk from the main festival itself, you’ll find Slottsfjell’s very own Kastellnatt, which over the last couple of years has developed into one of the most exciting club events in Northern Europe.
Line up is still TBC. Last year we hosted Lindstrøm, Todd Terje, Brenmar, DJ Sliink, John Talabot and many more.
Tickets/entrance, general information
There is no age limit at Slottsfjell and the passes are for all of the activities during day time. However, we ask parents and grown-ups to consider when the festival is no longer a place for guests under 18. Slottsfjell respectfully suggests children are no longer on site after 20.00 hrs.
Three-day passes and day-passes for Slottsfjell 2016 are on sale now.
The afterparties at Slottsfjell are held at three different venues, Kastellnatt, Total Bar and Støperiet. Choose «English» on the Billettportalen.no Slottsfjell site, and choose «Kastellnatt» for the night time dance club there.
The festival area opens approximately one hour prior to the first artist on stage and closes after the last band on the main stage. Changes may occur.
